United Way of San Diego County's Women’s Leadership Council (WLC) raises awareness and much-needed funds to help solve community problems. WLC has a simple goal: Mobilize the power of
women to improve lives in our community. Members take action on issues that hit closest to home by giving, volunteering and advocating on issues that affect women and children.
Since its inception in January 2009, the Women’s Leadership Council has grown its membership, representing women in the business, financial, legal, and service industries, plus
education and health care. The WLC provides San Diego women a meaningful philanthropic opportunity to learn, lead and advocate on issues critical to advancing the common good.
Please join us in creating long-term community change! To join the WLC, our members make a $1,000 annual gift directly to United Way. For those interested in joining who are under 30, they
can take advantage of our WINGs (Women In the Next Generation of Giving) program, by making an annual gift of $500 directly to United Way. We welcome you to connect!
